Provo Water Company Welcomes Enid Capron Primary School Students for Educational Plant Tour

Provo Water Company was delighted to welcome Grade 5 students and teachers from Enid Capron Primary School for a special educational tour of the Turks and Caicos Water Plant this morning.

As part of the students’ current studies on “Water Resources,” the visit gave the children an opportunity to learn more about water contamination, treatment and the journey water takes from the plant to the tap.

The tour was led by Managing Director, Jared Fulton, who guided the students through the treatment process and explained how Provo Water Company works to provide safe, reliable drinking water to the community every day. PWC staff were also on hand throughout the morning to assist, answer questions and help make the experience engaging and interactive for the students.

A total of 64 students and 3 teachers attended the visit, which forms part of Provo Water Company’s ongoing commitment to community outreach and education.

At Provo Water Company, we believe it is important to help young people understand where their water comes from, the importance of protecting water resources and the work involved in delivering high quality drinking water across Providenciales.

We would like to thank the students and teachers of Enid Capron Primary School for visiting us and for their enthusiasm throughout the morning. We hope the experience helped inspire greater awareness about water conservation and treatment within the next generation.
