Value on Tap is a series of simple updates to how we manage customer accounts, connection fees and deposits. These changes are designed to keep everything fair, clear and up to date, while continuing to deliver safe, reliable water across the Turks and Caicos Islands.

It ensures everything is fair, up to date, and reflects the real cost of providing safe, reliable water across the Turks and Caicos Islands.
As the Turks and Caicos Islands continue to grow, we are updating our systems to keep things clear, consistent, and aligned with current usage.
These updates also support the high standards of service you expect from Provo Water Company.
There are three main updates:
Customer categories
Residential and Commercial accounts will now be called Domestic and Non-domestic.
(This is simply a name change to better reflect how water is used.)
New connection fees
For new Non-domestic connections (typically properties with multiple connections), installation fees will reflect the actual cost of labour, materials and equipment.
New customer deposits
Deposits for new customers will be updated to better reflect current usage and help manage account risk.
A Domestic property is a standard residential property with up to three water connections.
This includes most homes across Providenciales.
A Non-domestic property is typically one with multiple water connections (4 or more).
This may include larger properties, developments or sites with higher water usage.
These updates will take effect from April 20, 2026.
Until then, all current rates and fees remain the same.
If you are an existing customer, nothing will change for you.
These updates apply only to:
- New customers
- New Non-domestic connections
No. Your water rate remains exactly the same at 4.1 cents per gallon. (As of March 2026).
No action is required from existing customers.
