Drinking Water Week in Action at Clement Howell High School

As part of our Drinking Water Week celebrations, the team at Provo Water Company, supported by our dedicated Distribution Department, had the pleasure of visiting Clement Howell High School.

Students learned firsthand how we deliver safe, clean drinking water to schools across the island. We explained the workings of our distribution system and gave a hands-on demonstration of our leak detection equipment.

The energy in the room was fantastic as students tried out the gear themselves, listening for the sound of water flowing underground. It was a unique and eye-opening experience. One of the highlights was a friendly pipe-cutting competition between the boys and girls to see who could cut the straightest pipe. It was a close contest, but the girls proudly took the win.

A special thank you to all of our incredible staff. From IT to our Managing Director, everyone played a part in making this event a success and helping to educate the next generation about the value of clean drinking water.

To close the visit, each student received a small gift as a token of appreciation for their enthusiasm and participation. We loved connecting with the future of TCI and sharing the science behind the water that flows from their taps.
