Call Before You Dig
Planning to Dig? Call Provo Water First!
At Provo Water Company, we are committed to protecting our water infrastructure and ensuring the safety of our community. Before you begin any digging or excavation work, it is essential to contact us first. Our Call Before You Dig program helps prevent costly damages, service disruptions, and potential fines.
Why It’s Important
Water pipelines run underground across the Turks and Caicos Islands, and accidental damage during digging can lead to leaks, service interruptions, or expensive repairs. By taking the proper precautions, you can help safeguard this vital resource.
How It Works
1️⃣ Call Us First – Contact Provo Water at least two (2) days before you plan to dig.
2️⃣ Provide Information – Share details about your project, including the exact location and depth of excavation.
3️⃣ Site Assessment – A Provo Water specialist will visit the site and mark out the underground water pipeline to help you avoid damaging it.
4️⃣ Dig with Care – Once marked, proceed with caution, especially around identified water infrastructure.
Avoid Costly Repairs & Fines
Accidentally hitting a water pipeline can result in expensive repairs, fines, and water service interruptions. Taking this simple step ensures a smooth project while protecting your property and the community’s water supply.
