Provo Water Company is seeking suitably qualified applicants to join the company’s Distribution Department. Only candidates who meet the minimum requirements will be considered.
PIPE FITTER/PLUMBER
As a Pipe Fitter/Plumber, you will be a key role in our operations by installing, maintaining, and repairing the water distribution network that serves Providenciales. From handling emergency repairs to carrying out new installations, your work will contribute to providing clean, reliable water for homes, businesses, and communities across the island.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Install and repair pipes and plumbing systems
• Detect and troubleshoot network water issues
• Operate specialized tools and equipment
• Respond to emergency calls (rotational schedule)
• Follow health, safety, and environmental regulations
REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in waterworks, piping networks or civil engineering
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Must be computer literate
• Valid TCI driver’s license
• Able to work outdoors in various conditions
• A team player with excellent communication skills
WORK ENVIRONMENT
You will work in a mix of settings, from active roadways to remote sites. Some of the work may be in hot, wet, and dusty conditions. The position plays a crucial role in keeping our infrastructure running smoothly.
STARTING WAGES: $15 per hour, based on experience.
