Provo Water Company’s Water Quality & Laboratory Services was established to support the delivery of safe, reliable drinking water in the Turks and Caicos Islands. From the very beginning, our focus has been on protecting public health through accurate testing, careful monitoring, and a strong commitment to quality service.
As the company grew, the laboratory expanded from a one-person operation with the addition of another staff member. Its role in monitoring the distribution system and supporting operational decision-making also increased. Routine testing, regulatory monitoring, and investigative work became essential to ensuring that the water supplied to customers consistently met required standards.
A major milestone was achieved in April 2014 when the laboratory received international recognition, reflecting its commitment to quality, technical competence, and dependable results. This achievement marked an important step in strengthening confidence in our laboratory services and reaffirmed our dedication to excellence.
Over time, laboratory services continued to expand beyond routine distribution monitoring to include private water testing, customer investigations, and specialized water quality support. Another important achievement was obtaining accreditation not only for testing, but also for water sampling. This growth allowed us to better serve both internal operations and the wider community with timely, professional, and confidential testing services.
Provo Water Lab celebrated our 10 year anniversary.
Today, Provo Water Company’s Water Quality & Laboratory Services remains committed to delivering reliable testing, supporting safe drinking water, and maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism.
